Can't find any info about it (and certainly not anything in the sleeve or on the album itself). So, how come she's not mentioned...anyone know the story and why she actually was chosen from the start (she's a really cool lady...I mean, it's quite odd for girls to be so much into synths and stuff and what she did on the ZTT produced albums was just magic)?
Alright, now how do you know Anne Dudley did the strings on first Electronic album?

No one? C'mon guys, some of you seemed to know it quite well and I never heard it before. I can't sleep 'til I know...;)
I thought she only did strings on Getting Away With It? Considering said single is now on the reissue, maybe that's why people say she did arrangements for the LP. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well..on my 12" of Getting Away with it, on the sleeve are credits listing Anne Dudley's for string arrangements.
Ok, so there are credits on the 12" sleeve of Getting away with it? Hmm, there are some other stringy parts on the album that sounds as much classy as those on that track (Some distant memory's ending for example)...wonder if that's just Barney being influenced by Anne?
Anyway, thanks for clearing one thing for me!
She did on GAWI, I don't think she did any others.
And GAWI isn't on the album, so that's why you don't see her.
Of course, it's on reissues and international versions of the album, they might not have updated the credits though?

No, the sleevenotes weren't updated - just the writing credits for Getting Away With It (although Phil Powell's name was dropped - accident?). Anne Dudley's name SHOULD be on there, though - the strings on GAWI are great.
Anne Dudley worked closely with the Pet Shop Boys (from memory I think she worked on Nothing's Been Proved). Obviously the Neil Tennant influence at work there.
