The subject line is something I have been typing a lot on eBay recently.

This will the THIRD time I will be buying the second Monaco album. I usually am VERY careful with all my CDs, but this particular one, I still don't really know why, I love so much, I carry everywhere: car, travels around the world, etc. So yes, I lost it twice so far, the last time in Tampa Bay, I believe :^( Still have the sleeve, though - LOL!

Problem is, it's OOP. But it never prevented me from buying it twice before, huh? Anyway wish me luck, it's not everyday that I can spot a copy...

Cheers,

Mart

It's true this particular CD seems to be getting rarer :( I'll keep my eye out and reply here if I find a copy for sale.. I'm sure I saw one on eBay UK not so long ago so I would simply keep an eye out. The following sites are also handy for doing release-specific searches:

GEMM | NetSoundMusic.com

I think I saw one for sale in my local Virgin Megastore but I'm not sure. I'll check next time I'm there.

Try ebay or amazon they usually always have a couple.

Er, I own about 3 different copies of it... wasn't meaning to give the impression I don't own it! :\ohwell: I did the official web publicity for that album but Monaco's record label Papillon still didn't give me a free jewel case copy  tight bastards! They did give me the promo CD which is kind of rare because the track timings are all messed up (i.e. track four plays for a minute at the end of track three etc. disjointed)

As for helping the chap who started the thread; Amazon don't stock it, they haven't for a good couple of years now (Like pretty much every other SP release) and as for eBay I think only about one or two copies turn up there every 4-6 months so it's by no means an easy album to get these days :( However, I did find this:

Amazon.co.uk: Used and New: Monaco:

Give that a try, elmarto :thumb:

Cripes it's pricey!! That's like 30$ for me, not including shipping... Ugh.

Thanks, though! Will think about it :^)

I'm thanking the Gods that I have all the side project LPs on CD as it appears that they have been deleted - I don't see any Other Two, Monaco, Revenge (apart from the rare v.2) or Electronic (apart from the rare eponymous LP) anywhere - how is deleting this vital part of the NO catalogue supposed to help raise the profile.

Warners should buy up the rights then at least one company would be able to organise the chaos...

I never saw Monaco in the shops (HMV,Virgin, etc),i came across a market trader selling CD's who had about 10 copies for £2 each. I only ever bought the one.
