Finally found Super Highways

I have to admit, I got into The Other Two a bit late in the game so I missed Super Highways when it was (barely) released. However, I was at a used CD shop yesterday and found a copy in mint condition for $6. Score!

Thanks for the offer. It's really a great album. Now if I can just find the second Monaco album I'll be all set.

I eventually found it used through an Amazon third-party seller. I paid a lot more than $6, but it was well worth it! Gillian could sing "99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall" and I'd love it. (Though I must say that I didn't really like Melanie Williams's vocals.)

good work. I'm still very much in the looking phase. Have been gazumped (or whatever the particular vernacular is) on ebay more times than I'd care to mention. Have only relatively recently checked the other two out, following a random purchase of the selfish promo (for two quid). It is excellent of course. And TO2 are definitely underrated.

Great job! I am jealous. I'm looking for that and, like you, the Monaco album. I've seen them on Amazon for like $35, and couldn't find either one on ebay. Maybe I need to hunt some used CD stores and hope to get lucky.

Ideal situation: A seller on Gemm or Music Stack happens to have a sealed copy of Monaco, mixed in with a box of stuff he bought from someone else. This guy mainly deals in country or jazz, so he has no idea who Monaco is and puts it up for sale for $10.

Of course, this scenario is too good to be true.
