Freebass Release?

Does any one know when the Freebass record will be released?

There is talk of an internet only release (I.e. iTunes) on the horizon but the last bit of proper Freebass news was that they've recruited "a young lad called Richard from Wigan" to do vocal duties. It was rumoured to be Richard Ashcroft but this has since been dismissed as rubbish so it's obviously another Richard; answers on a postcard?!

Hooky and Andy Rourke continue to DJ while Mani is currently busy touring Primal Scream's new record and since we all know how late/delayed/cancelled New Order related releases can be I don't think anyone's holding their breath for this one. Plus we've got New Order commencing a UK-wide tour in a couple of months. If we see any Freebass in 2006 I will be very surprised.

That said, any info is welcome... Jack, has your old man said anything?! :)

'The Tower' is still nowhere to be seen on I-Choons; I think that was meant to be the first Freebass song.

I've got a feeling it's been delayed indefinitely... maybe infinitely...
