Not really... I could name at least ten other Electronic tracks I much prefer to most of the singles especially Getting Away With It. Those being:
Free Will (12") Reality Some Distant Memory Imitation Of Life Warning Sign Prodigal Son Make It Happen Dark Angel Haze Out Of My League
Oh yes 
a good chunk of Electronic's finest moments were tucked away as B sides or anonymous album tracks. Include choice remixes in the above and you could stretch it to 15 tracks.
agree with ally, electronic have some diamonds hiden away on those albums and b sides.

It's all about personal taste, though, isn't it? I personally love Electronic, but I'd still take Electronic any day over those crap bands that are on mainstream radio.
They did some great stuff and some dross.
I adore the 1st and 3rd albums but not so much affection for RTP.
Warning Sign, A New Religion, Imitation Of Life, I Feel Aright are all brilliant too.

I used to think that as well, but pulled RTF off the shelf recently and gave it a fresh spin. Maybe because I played it far less back in the day, but I really enjoyed it more than I thought I would.
Hated RTP when it came out...didn't even buy it. A few months/years later, I snagged it used for .50, and wore it out...couldn't get enough. To this day, I still love it. Go figure.
Some of the best Electronic stuff was definitely hidden on the singles, and I think many people missed out on that. Shame really.
some of electronics works, and albums were actually better than the last couple of new order albums to me..

Agreed. Bernard and Johnny are manchester legends,but together they were no great shakes (apart from the singles). As the two of them were from such great musical backgrounds I probably expected more.
At the end of the day it's just down to personal taste I guess. I'm probably the only person on here who thinks that 'music for pleasure' is a top album.

Funny, many NO albums I was lukewarm on at first, and grew to absolutely love the. With RTP, however, it was love at first listen.

To be honest, I think Electronic was less than the sum of it's parts. First album kinda overrated, just really an attempt at multiple singles with some pisstakes added. Second album underrated, actually sounded outdated when released but sounds better with time, seems like the only record they took time on . Third album maybe the most boring/irrelevant thing that either Sumner or Marr did, really have trouble listening to it past the first song.

I somewhat agree with you on the first album, though I think I liked it better than you, but I think maybe it was a tad overrated. It does have some great singles, though. I agree with you on the second. I did not much care for the third album at first, but after many more listens I grew to like it. I think that there are several good songs though it is still my least favorite Electronic album.
