Since NO have nothing new for me to chase after with the remasters and all, I looked into electronic, and I quite enjoy some of it, yet I don't know whats good, and whats shite. I've been told that anything after the first album is crap from amazon reviews, but I figured i'd ask here.

Electronics music is excellent, i would suggest that if you like Republic, you'll love Raise The Pressure, or if you prefer Get Ready, Twisted Tenderness will be good, and in my opinion seems to be a dry run for Get Ready, being very similar.

I really like Raise the Pressure, but alot of folk think it's shite. You could get the Best Of?

Was thinking of doing that, it's been sitting on my amazon.com wishlist, just thought I'd inquire with peoples opinions which I value.

Fuck the 'Best of' get th releases in order, there are only three of them. The first is by far the best, then Raise the Pressure has more dance beats and Twisted Tenderness has a more rock side to it. All three are worth having if yer a NO fan. 'Best of' is just a waste of time...

...also, Monaco is far better if you are missing the NO sound, either album is good.

RTP is my fav also. Kraftwerk's Karl Bartos collaborated on the album.

Took your suggestion, I got Raise The Pressure, and Twisted Tenderness. I too prefer RTP, I think it has a wealth of good tracks. Some of the songs have the atmosphere of Republic era songs, like Ruined In A Day. The beat to how long reminds me of World strangely. I also enjoy vivid and Twisted Tenderness from Twisted Tenderness, thats really about it for that one.

The last 2 albums are worth getting.

Raise the pressure is a must have in my mind. Better than the 1st album.
