Nicos, if you FIXED THE SITE TO WORK IN FIREFOX it would be nice

Note that Firefox also has an RSS reader in it - Live Bookmarking is what its called in the English version I think (I'm in the Irish version...)

However, the forums DON'T work in Firefox as they are far from valid HTML - you get 'interesting' table bugs, weird widths, etc.

But dude, abusing our beloved webmaster here will not cause him to seek to path of true light, merely to entrench himself in MSdarkess32-XP.NET. I've spotted only one thing that works "better" on NOOL in IE, and that's that IE gives you transparent menus. I gotta say that I can live without them given that the alternative is that feeling of having your soul slowly filed away to dust, the will to live drained from your vains, that feeling of USING IE.

Oh Re: mail clients......Can't like thunderbird for some reason, we just aint clicked together yet. I use Evolution and love it. For those who don't know it, it's kinda like MS-outlook ( full, not express) but without the constant risk that you may have to tear your computer to scrap metal in response to it's actions ( and the consequent risk of personal injury).

I quite fancy NOOL-on-tap so I must see if it can do these here RSS things (thus saying, I prove you can be a network iliterate and still use Linux)

I am currently working on my final year project which is being produced in ASP .NET. What I have found is that the web controls tend to use a lot of Microsoft specific none W3C standard code. It can make using ASP.NET quite hard if your site needs to meet all the accessability standards like mine.

For this reason I am having to create a lot of my own custom controls use my own HTML/CSS rather than allt he W3C invalid junk Microsoft seems to produce.

The XML web feed is a good idea though, I'm using Firefox so I can use that really easily.

I never liked Evolution much, and Evolution 2.0 is far, far worse. The 2.2 previews are also not great.

I use GMail for most stuff - gives me an email client within Firefox
