Alright, I will be working on NOOL within the next 2 weeks, and my main goal is to enhance the forums. I have found a lot of good ideas out of the open source forums done in asp.net (http://www.communityserver.org/) especially for moderators and I'll work on it.
I believe a lot of ideas will enhance NOOL and make it ready for the upcoming March release and the visits we'll get then.
But, since those are NOOL forums, some people will have ideas (I still have those from the last time), and it's time to tell me if you thing something needs to be done. I will also start to purge older posts, make the damn SEARCH work for once, stuff like that.
I will also create an announcement forum, because I notice that most announcement done in here are lost, so this will be one place to really know the site news.
You might have noticed that I started to link NEWS with message topic, so this will be something that can be done.
I also have the goal to start RSS feed for each forums, so people only lurking will be able to do it from a RSS readers...
I will also add a new category of users to NOOL, editors, those will be able to add content to the website (mostly news.. I believe a few people here would fit quite good to enter news as they find them)
So that's mostly it for now... posts like this will be eventually in the announcement board ;) and sorry if the forum stops working, I don't have a testing environment so I usually work in the live environment (Kids, don't do this at home!!) so sometimes it might turn bad, but I fix the problem right away...
