I never said that you should scrap the menu-bar, I just said that you could provide an alternative for those of us left in the 0.5%. My suggestion was a site-map with regular "a href" links, and/or regular "a href" links a'la the menu-bar at the very bottom of every page. This would satisfy the last 0.5% and turn the site from good to great, assuming that it is your objective to have a great site that is...
Explorer is a Windows-only product. Safari is the browser for Mac. I know we've been discussing Opera support before. I would recommend you to at least try the latest version of Opera, you may get hooked. If you don't testdrive other cars, you'd be stuck driving a Ford...
