I can see them doing Simple Minds, but maybe in a different key so that Barney can hit all of the notes.

i say new years day by u2.

I think "just like heaven" by the cure would be a good song for new order to cover aswell.

I always say thats the best new order song that new order never did!:jawdrop:

Type O Negative, just to see if New Order could actually do goth.

You mean, besides Movement? Very good David. I'd forgotten about that New Order "experiment".

I suppose Type O could do a pretty sweet rendition of Doubts Even Here couldn't they?

I decided to be a bugger and vote for "No One Like You". I just think it'd be funny for NO to try something a little out of their element ("heavy metal", as it were) :D

Oh Pet Cemetary for sure!!! I would hate to hear New Order do some U2 or the Cure!! I'd loose all respect for them over shite like that.

Now, howa about some Vanilla Ice!!?

I doubt Barney could remember the lyrics to "ice, ice baby" and we'd get some potty-mouthed version.

Revolution - The Cult

From the list I'd go for the good old Southern death Cult (think thats what they used to be called), Personally though i'd like to see em do "Dont fear the reaper", maybe Barney could duet with Ana Matronic.

How about the entire 'Dark Side Of The Moon' album?

How about doing a Slade record..

I'm thinking Barney trying to affect Pete Steele's singing growl would just be a little much. Different range in sounds, and maybe the best bet would get Hook to sing that set? ;)

I vote for The Cult, just because the tightness of that song seems like it'd be a joy for New Order to remake.
