Music For Pleasure vs Republic

Music For Pleasure is ok,Republic is ok,but i think the New Order CD pips it cos i prefer Barney to Hooky singing.

Difficult. "Music..." is Monaco's best album. You can't really compare it with N.O.'s "Republic". But "Republic" wins.

I voted for republic although I must say I LOVE the MFP sleeve.

Republic. I really enjoy it. As for Music for Pleasure there are alot of mediocre tracks on it. The only stand outs on Music for Pleasure are 'What do you want from me', 'Sweet Lips' and 'Junk'.

I'm glad to see Republic is winning. I wasn't sure it would. MFP has some very good songs, but some of the songs are pretty weak, too. I'm sure I'm not in the majority when I say I love every song on Republic. It did take me several listens to come to that opinion, though.

Monaco and Revenge are my least favorite side project. Maybe if Monaco had a best of album, then I would probably vote for Monaco over Republic.

Music For Pleasure!! I haven't even listened to Republic on it's whole. I think it's de worst NO disc, and in fact it is the only NO disc I don't like.

Moreover, i love Monaco and Music For Pleasure is a great work!

Republic. An average NO album beats a good side project album anyday!

Easy. Republic. Although my least favoutie NO album the st side is really good and also special on the b side, MFP is just average
