I haven't read it, unfortunately. A guy I know has been trying to turn me on to a bunch of Italian horror movie books from FAB Press, but I have too many unread film books at the moment. Damn ego of mine.

The only bands that I think are better than Pet Shop Boys are Joy Division and New Order, with contention from Happy Mondays and The KLF.

Well (besides N.O.) I always loved PSB and Erasure (I saw Andy and Vince live just a few weeks ago ). Though I can't vote for two bands I choose not to do it...

Depressed Mood, I mean Depeche Mode. They've always ranked in my top 5. Although the Smiths are gaining as I age!

I actually love PSB, Erasure and The Smiths, with Depeche Mode more in the "like" category. None of them come close to NO, but they're pretty good, I think!

I voted for Depeche Mode-- keeping in mind that we're talking about the 80s. Not too impressed with them after Violator.
