Which trilogy owns you? Even though Star wars final installment isnt out til next week, I can predict what happens, Anakin becomes Dart (Yawn) I can become Darth Vader as well. And I am your father. :evil4:

I read the LOTR books twice when I was younger, enjoyed them for the mythological aspects of the story, and never acted obsessively about it (i.e. naming pets Frodo, attending conventions ,etc). I liked the movies cause I never thought they'd ever be brought to the screen.

As for Star Wars, I can't be bothered anymore.

If it's between the Star Wars prequels and LOTR, then Rings wins hands down easily. If not, the original (proper) Star Wars trilogy beats out Rings. I've never been obsessive about either, but the Star Wars have that kitschy cult movie feel (being an homage to old serials) that the Rings ones don't.

if I know all the trilogys I use all. But I dont. Original star wars has 4. It shouldnt be a trilogy, more like a series.

I refuse to vote. I think you can't really compare those... I love both.

Neither. Snoozefests.

Although, I will say at least the newest Star Wars installment looks somewhat entertaining. But it'll never compete with the original three in the 70s and 80s.

Lord of the Rings though is just not my cup of tea.

poop. i didn't read the whole title of the poll and voted for star wars. i thought it was original star wars trilogy vs. trilogy, not realizing it was prequels vs. LOTR trilogy. in that case it's definitely lord of the rings!
