I noticed that most nooler's dont seem to treat this song with favor. I happen to love it. The couple of times I dj'd, it drove the crowd crazy.

The word "like" isn't on your side today :D .

I don't like the whole "Technique" album. In my eyes it has no highlights. I like "Mr. Disco" but that's it...

Thats a first for this forum. I actually think new order's albums are very inconsistent. I look at them at as a singles band. In fact i think they should only release 6 songs ep's.

for example: road to ruin wftsc krafty morning day and night jetstream giaue this would be awesome, in my book.

by the way i think people who speak english as a second language, have a better grasp on english then i do.

Easy pal... I mean you forgot the word "like" in two different polls... I would never criticise anyone's english... I know mine is worse... But together we are better than Spike anyway... ;)

Love it myself, but then I was at the right age when Technique was released! A LOT of good memories, including Reading 89.

Fine Time is a great track. I don't know what's wrong with it that other NO fans don't like it? It's classic NO. :D

Fine Time is great, never had a problem with it, a great bridge between the past and the future of the band. :thumb:

I could live without it. Choppy lyrics and silly overall. The weakest track on Technique, IMO.

I love Fine Time. I think it's hilarious and fun. I think it's a pretty imaginative track, really.

Smashing super track - maybe a tad less pervymeister vocals but still class either way....

Exactly!:thumb: It's no masterpiece, but it's a good bit of fun all the same. I've always liked it.

yah i must admit there are versions of it that i like better, like the one with the moaning, haha. but Don't Do It, now that song is gold :thumb:

i liked it when technique was first released, but i've gone off it. i could easily live without it.

Now, don't throw tomatoes at me, but I LOVE Technique. Fine Time is a good one, but I do love me some Dream Attack, Round and Round, and Vanishing Point. That album is what got me hooked on New Order (besides BLT and Your Silent Face.) I was 14 when it came out and it reminds me of good times during my "troubled adolescence." :p

Great track still sounds current.

Brilliant when played very very very loud!!!!:thumb:

really very easy to make a complete twat of yourself dancing to fine time, which in my eyes is a big plus. I have periods of loving technique and then not wanting to listen to it at all but fine time, love less, guilty partner and dream attack are exempt from this shocking fickleness

This song kicks ass. In some ways, maybe their best dance tune. With a nice touch of humor, to boot.

Interesting lyrics, crazy dance beats, cool synthesiser sounds...one of their classic songs.:thumb:

its awful, only shite track on technique and i always skip it:nod:

Their last great dancefloor track. This fit right in with all the anonymous white label stuff spinning in Ibiza or Detroit or Fridays at the Hacienda.

I don't see how anyone could listen to this and not want to dance their ass off.

'But most of all, you've got love technique'

Most wicked funny line in the entire song. I love it.

And while it's no 'Perfect Kiss', I love me some 'Fine Time'!!

Trust me, I do that everytime I hear that song. Not Barney's dancing, just the 'making a complete twat of myself dancing to Fine Time' part. I can't help it. It's a fun song.

:evil4: And yeah, Barney did make a good complete twat of himself at the end. But hey, that's Barney for ya.

Fine Time is a decent track - a track of its time.

It's not a classic but doesn't deserve deletion either.

I prefer DDI anyway - great tune! :D
