Office Romances

Here I am, thinking I'm all cool and mysterious with my affections for my current stalking object...I mean, object of my affection (she knows I like her, but I haven't been saying much to anyone else about it), and today a mutual friend of mine said that she (the friend) could tell I liked her (the girl I like, not the friend).

All this makes me wonder: do I have no future as a belivable actor :(

Anyway, I just hope her boyfriend doesn't notice.....

I don't see any problem with it as long as it doesn't affect work performance.

I've never had the chance; everywhere I've worked has been mostly made up of women or guys who are way too old for me. I might consider it if the opportunity came up, though.

Too much of a headache. Then you have to clean up all the shit the consequences bring with it.

I think it's only illegal if your carrying on with your supervisor or such. Co-worker romances in of themselves aren't illegal unless it's specifically banned in your place of work.

Office dating is not illegal. Even if a supervisor is dating an employee. What is illegal is sexual harassment, so any supervisor who dates an employee is an arse just asking for a lawsuit. That's why companies don't allow it.

Update: If a non-supervisory employee sexually harasses another employee, the company becomes liable for subsequent harassment once it is put on notice that the employee has been harassed.

Ive had a relationship with a female at almost every place ive worked.But the last one ended a bit sour and i eventually left for another job.

OK, as long as you have an alternative offer of employment.

Seeing as how I work at a bank, I work with all women, some young and quite cute!

However, some problems

1. I believe that romance affects work which affects the bottom line. Not fucking worth it.
2. Many have long term live in boyfriends. Gulp.
3. I am MARRIED now, so to keep my marriage (and genitals) intact, no hanky panky for me
