Wow, another hard one. Went with TTON, as I love how naked and real Barney's voice in it, the way it cracks is so NO.

I find it emotional. Sure it is a 1980 song and Hannet made Barney do 42 takes on the vocal. But the song is full of energy and the dual nature of NO--synths and acoustics. Plus it is ace

I think it is quite emotional as well. Barney's first set of decent lyrics, to my mind. 42 vocal takes? Jesus, Mary, & Joseph!

They might actually be Steve's, but who knows for sure. Very close to being my favourite New Order lyrics anyway, although much of the charm is once again in the way they're sung.

Mark Johnson's book states that Procession was Steve's song. There's a poor quality live snippet of Steve singing it, but many doubt if it's genuine at all; according to Johnson's book the song was debuted about a month later at The Squat:
