Ceremony for me.on another night it would have been Temptation though

Temptation got me into new order and is not written by joy division.

hard and harder...

Ceremony... for the curious thing that fills me when Peter Hook starts to play this song live...

I voted for Temptation because at the end of the day I like NO because their music can be exuberant and liberating. Ceremony is fantastic from start to finish and it's one of my favorite songs ever, but it's melancholic in a way. Temptation is more uplifting, and it is the track that really got me hooked on NO.

Tough call, and maybe on a different night I'd change my mind.

Ceremony, no trouble.

Temptation has became The Cure's A Forest a long time ago.

Its getting nasty now,but Ceremony remains uppermost for me,and this would probably be my final.

Ceremony is great, but Temptation has been my favorite song of all time since I heard it in 87. Have to go with Temptation.

may have lost against Dreams Never End but Ceremony - Still- World will travel oh so quickly. Avenues all lined w/ trees..

does barely win over, Temptation's hit the ground. Never met anything like it before. ouch the Mixes.

Temptation but only just...

Temptation is probably on par with Ceremony melody-wise but I think is getting a bit tired in it's live form. I also think Ceremony is a better song lyric-wise even if the lyrics were written by someone who offed himself before JD had the chance to become Factory's equivilant to U2. Sorry to see it go. If Regret gets up(despite my nightmares about the Hoff) and faces off against Temptation, things could get really interesting(I'd back Regret though).

Ceremony is the best thing out there. Period.

I'm under the impression Barney wrote about half the words to Ceremony, due to Ian's mumbling on the demo. Barney's lyrics are underrated, and Temptation's lyrics suit the music perfectly.

Okay here come's my vote for TEMPTATION just because Bonzette put Ceremony.

I'm dedicating my vote to us bullying Arsenal all over Manchester tomorrow :thumb:

Just out of interest, were you at the 6-1 United win a few years back?? :evil4: :shades:

For the record yes! I can send you my ticket if you wish, but, not one for living in the past buster, so here's too today and not yesterday. You know you gonna get whipped, and, if not i'll pay for your pearl jam festival ticket or whatever it is. Deal???????

Both tunes still continue to liven out the gigs when needed. Temptation it is though, not their first dance track but the first one that truly screams out NEW ORDER to me.
