pretty self-explanatory....and stupid.
I cast my vote for somewhere around 1985.....that is, after she ditched the Siouxsie Sioux hair from Taras Shevchenko, but before the years caught up by Reading 1998 and she started looking kinda like me Ma (hmmm...Freud would have a holiday). Am I the only one whose heart dropped when the camera came into focus in the opening shot of the Perfect Kiss video? something about those eyes.....

Gillian was probably first attracted to Steves sense of humour more than anything else. Lets face it, as far as personality in the band goes, Morris is the best of a bad bunch! Barney is a miserable bastard most of the time, & Hooky thinks (wrongly) swearing a lot and growing stupidly long hairstyles somehow make him sexy.
Speaking of King Peter, is it just my opinion, or were the women who were hanging off him in the 'Story' documentary complete MINGERS?...!
