Just thinking, in terms of chronology Elvis P. died August 16, while Elvis C. was born August 25. Because I have no life, I thought maybe it'd be nice to have a poll about which "E" you prefer? 
For me, EC is tops, because I never cared for Presley's stuff (and it seemed there were an awful lot of TV miniserieses in the Eighties about him for some reason), and while I can acknowledge his importence to rock music, I just like Costello over Presley any day music-wise. 
Have to agree - Presley had (before he turned to shit) the moves, the looks, the danger, but I just can't stand his music and style of crooning. So, Costello it is, if only for Oliver's Army.
Elvis Presley was shite. Fat, bloated, drug-addled, paranoid, cheeseball shite at the end. Died on a toilet, fittingly.
Costello started out great, but I've lost interest over the years.

If you're talking about the above "Elvis" Sumner, he's got everything down but the death on the toilet part.

I did mean Mr. Sumner, and I'm sure there'll be some water involved when he goes ... he'll probably be found on a yacht floating somewhere of the Caribbean !
