1. the intro is cool and stuff
2. Barney is no Ian when it comes to vocals...some of the JD songs that NO covers just don't sound the same without Ian (for example, Decades, Digital, SLC, Heart and Soul).
3. see above, and yeah a decent addition with the new electronic bits, but it just doesn't have the same feel. It was always very dancy, but now it sounds much more upbeat.

5. havin stopped drinkin and a three pack a day habit, my latest addiction seems to be vitamin supplements, B12, Zinc, Vit C,Selenium, Sea kelp, Garlic oil, Cod liver oil, Multi-vitamin, Pro-biotic and two yoghurt drinks. Marginaly less expensive than the cigs :(

Too cheesy - should've been left alone. Played it back to back with the original and theres no comparison.....

Reading 98 and Peel session 98 are superb

Best Bit - The new intro/electro flow of the '98 update and IMO Bernard's vocals seem just as suited to the track as Ian's. Worst Bit - I suppose the lack of spontaneity the original had. Why I Like It - Generally has more of a electronic and dancier feel to it than the JD original (although both are very good IMO) and has worked very well in a live setting IMO. Percentage Rating - 90% Addiction - NOOL of course LOL!

I´ll take the In Session version as reference, although this one sounds brilliant on Reading 98.

Best bit: one of their best arrangements ever IMHO. Really improves by far the original recording, despite the lack of Ians vocals. It ended up as a nice NO track with Barneys voice providing an entirely different approach, if not with the same urge of Curtis, perhaps with a more contemporary feel. For me it´s the only JD track that gets really good without Ian.

And that bassline... absolute kickass!

Worst bit: nothing at all really.

Why do you like it: ´cause it do sounds like they actually achieved what they originally wanted to do w Isolation in terms of arrangement/available technology, wich shows how avant garde JD were at their time. They just needed better instruments on cases like this.
