If the World Cup deserves it's own Forum, Rooney certianly warrants his own thread.
During the build-up to this tournament, it was clear that Rooney was going to be a dissapointment. You just can't live up to hype like that. I'm sure nobody expected him to contribute by crippling our bright young star in training. What a horrible young man he is. Send him home before he does any more damage!

Sven-Goran Eriksson may be prepared to risk Wayne Rooney as a substitute in Thursday's game against Trinidad and Tobago, it emerged yesterday. The forward, who has been recovering from a broken foot, has impressed in training and the coach said he was "very optimistic". The need for additional options up front was clear after Saturday's 1-0 win against Paraguay when Michael Owen failed to complete the 90 minutes. The problem of cover was compounded when it emerged that Theo Walcott injured his leg in training after being "smashed" from behind by Wayne Rooney.
