Well what does that all tell us about the shape of the Ecuadorians? A German 1:0 vs. a big Ecu win against Poland  .

I start supporting the german team if they reach the half final... I think they will stopped in the quarter final... Maybe the next round is the last...

very optimistic there Bere?

NEVER write off Germany. they are a tourament team.

if they stay fit, and no suspensions, they surely have a great chance. home crowd advantage usually counts.

There is a big chance for Germany in this competion. But I think, the thing with the tournament team is a legend, which is cultivated by the german media and I can't understand, that this story is told now all over the world. For Example wasn't Germany's 3:2 Win over England at the WM 1970 a strength of the German Team. It was very stupid from the english coach to take the both best english players from the field after the 2:0 Lead by England to preserve them for a game, that should not take place for England.

I always write off this team, because it's no good. The last WM was big luck for Germany. Even Rudi Voeller admitted that ;). I don't know if this sentence is known in English, too: "Unter den Blinden ist der Einäugige König" -> "Among the blind is the one-eyed the king". That maybe our luck. Honest - who except for Argentina showed good soccer in this tournament yet? (and I'm not a Arg-fan ;) and I don't only judge on the 6:0 )
