I reckon this will be a really good match. Argentina look amazing, and Mexico are a more than decent side.

I'm gonna say 3-1 to Argentina though. They look great.

I watched this with a few lagers, it was an ok match, but Argentina were poor while Mexico played well. There weren't that many clear cut chances. The winning goal was fucking stunning though.

Alan Hansen saying it was one of the best ever WC games in the commentary after the match? I must've been watching a different game!

Jos,

Mexico played a great game and it could have been victory for them:thumb: i hope this wakes up Argentina and shows them that in the knockout stage you have to play above yourself to win

I thought it was a great game - Mexico were unlucky not to win it...

Thing could have turned out differently if that Argentine foul on the Mexican player had lead to a sending off (like it should have done). To counter-balance, that last-minute Argentine goal should have stuck - that was definitely not off-side...

All in all, an enthralling match - Mexico showed that Argentina aren't invincible - that Argentina vs Germany match might be very close, and Germany may well beat them! :)

I guess the problem here is not for Germany to beat Argentina, but Argentina to beat Germany.

Germany played very well agaist Sweeden, that showed a very poor performance. Moreover Germany is local, and that's a huge advantage, specially for what the referees favor to.
