Stamped on Carvalho's bollocks. Straight Red - can't believe that Hansen, Lineker, Wright and Shearer are claiming he went for a shove on Ronaldo just after the incident

Shearer also says that Rooney should go back to the Utd training ground a "lay one on Ronaldo" What a cunt.

I wonder how many fights are gonna break out all over the place tonight :shades:

Ronaldo's United career is over. Rooney would kill him upon his return.

It was truly a wonderful day!

I'm sorry that Argentina lost, I've always had a soft spot them since 1978, what a great World Cup that was...

Allez les Bleus! :thumb:

I watched it round my mate's house with an English guy who I hardly knew so I had to stifle my glee. Me and Jonny had a sneeky laugh doin silent Peter Crouch robotic dancing every time Eng-Er-Land missed a penalty and Rufus (the English guy) had his head in his hands.

You mean you laughed more than the majority of Britain did when Scotland failed to qualify?

Have to admit that I was almost quite glad that Sven's tactical folly was exposed, and that even though I naturally wanted England to win, no way would I want to see Sven treated as a hero. I can't honestly believe now or at any stage that he really understands what is going on.

He's now defending his choice of Walcott, saying that it will be good experience for him, he's seen a World Cup now. Sorry Sven, but you can't afford to take a kid on work experience to something like that and name him in the squad at the expense of an experienced professional. Sure, take him along as a non-playing member of the squad, and thus not counted in the 23, but to take someone he had no intention of playing, alongside two known injury risks, was tantamount to footballing suicide. It automatically dictated the tactics, and meant that he effectively cancelled out the potential threat of Lampard and Gerrard, two very similar players who can't contrast each other, by having to play them alongside each other. All he needed to do was switch Beckham inside and Gerrard outside!

Maybe they wouldn't have won it, but they would at least have both created more chances and had people able to get into the box without impacting on the shape too much. Lampard and Gerrard inhibit each other when they play central midfield, they think the same and make the same runs. Into each other.

We exited the world cup because we were never going to be able to create goal opportunities against better teams with the system and players deployed. Rooney was'nt fit and is over-rated anyway. He's not consistent or a prolific goalscorer. We should have gone to Germany without him and the unfit Owen and Walcott and taken in-form strikers such as Bent, Defoe or even Fowler to play alongside Crouch.

Man Utd would in my view be much better off without C Ronaldo now. He's never going to be treated well in England and indeed never has been. In my view he would be better going to a stage production of Riverdance as he's certainly not good enough for Real Madrid.
