Well we all know this was set up specifically for the World Cup, but it has proved to be very interesting, football fans from all over the world combining together to talk about the beautiful game?

Does anyone else agree with me that the forum should stay on now the tournament is finished, so that all us football nuts can continue to discuss the various issues concerning the game in our various countries? If you're anything like me, you follow the game all over the world anyway via newspapers and the web, but it is always good to get the fans viewpoint on things that are happening, things you can't get from club websites.

Maybe make it an off-topic forum, maybe change the name.

I think it's a good idea to keep this thread. Why get rid of a good thing?

But yeah, maybe a name change is in order.

No offence intended Georgo, it's just that you don't often hear "good European club" and Tottenham in the same sentence.

I vote to keep the forum. Helps me learn more about the game, since I'm not a big soccer fan.

Can we have another one to discuss porno?

Definitely a good idea to keep it. Best change its name though. Saves scrolling all BCD to find the threads. The different WCup perspectives those few weeks ago certainly was good fun.

keep the forum re-name it though

Yeah, renaming it will make it clear to people that don't visit that often.

should we call it...

Player In The League?

Or Out of My League?

Eh. Depends on what soil the game is played on doesn't it. And imported/ export turf doesn't count. Electronic's Lucky Bag could also be suitable name. Always is an element of chance.

Shit? - Why have I got an Iraklis shirt then?(thanks for that Elias - I still wear it to my eircom League games:bow: )

Yes, keep this forum - & change the name to Player In The League - then I can bore you all with details of how Irish teams are doing in Europe:evil4: (CORK CITY beat Apollon Limasol in the 1st round of the CL & now play RED STAR BELGRADE in the next round this week! In the UEFA DROGHEDA drew 1:1 away to HJK Helsinki while DERRY beat IFK Goteborg 0:1 in their 1st leg - also away. The home legs are this Thursday. Its a good time to be an eircomLeague supporter!)

Keep the thread. Lose the name.(Worst NO song EVER). How about "where will it end?" (In yet another Rangers victory).

I don't mind keeping this forum up, but I'll have to cut the moderator list to those who care.. I put some as a joke, as some know ;)

As for the name... I don't see it that bad, people will know exactly what it's about that way, no?

Would always take "Such A Good Thing", but people will not relate too much.

Why not call it "Touched by The Hand of God"?

There's a kinda cool irony here, a "World in Motion" forum that people post in! :evil4:

I think, it's shouldn't be only a football forum. There are many interesting topics, for example olympics, doping, moshing ... It should be a sports forum.

call it

the six yard box.

rabbit hutch regs will attempt a coup though.

You could be onto something there. Somewhere for us to take the piss out of the Aussies when we retain the Ashes as well (or them to rip it back at us when we fold like a deck of cards!).

All sports forum sounds good to me. Then we can talk about the real football, the one where you use your hands. :evil4:
