can't fuckin believe that our first proper 3pm game on a Saturday is actually on the 14th of bastard October against Blackburn Rovers. October? WTF?
What ever happened to 3pm kick-offs?
its them gobshites at Sky TV who are to blame?

I would imagine any team that gets a decent run in the UEFA cup will be worse off. Thursday matches mean all games following would be switched to Sunday and any televised games would also mean changes.
Went through this a few years back with Leeds, it's crap when every match is on a Sunday, it's just not the same. Oh for the good old days - terracing, saturday afternoons, ..

the good thing about 3pm's, is getting to the Boozer at about 20 past 12. then going in the ground while were singing YNWA. perfect timing. i.e with 30 seconds to go.
We had those Thursdays a few years ago in the Uefa. Nightmare with them Sunday switches.
Bastard Toffees are alright though. 3pm versus Watford. Funny if they lose that one.
It's the Monday night footy i hate the most. Its usually the shitty teams on then. like Charlton, Bolton, Boiled Ham etc. Hopefully we can avoid a few monday nights.

hate Sunday games. 5pm on a Sat is about the only rearrangement I can handle, actually I prefer them to 3pm, better atmos as everyone has been in the pub longer.
Are first home 3 o clock ko is against the happy hammers 23 September i no its not as bad as October.But i no wot you say about the Monday night games they really fuck me of.I remember one game last season against Everton on a fuckin Sunday morning 11.30 wot the fuck .
Another little thing about Sunday/Monday games is not playing at the same time as everyone else, missing out on half-time and full time scores may seem insignificant but all these little things put together made Saturday afternoons.
As for music being blasted out and "entertainment" before a match and at half time ... shite.
i love them hamburgers in boiling water with the dripping wet onions. and mustard and red sauce. that's what its all about. (when i was 10)
