so...fcuk off the Magpies. We got him.

and he say's:-

"For me, Liverpool is sure to be the dream club I was looking for," 26-year-old Kuyt told the Reds website.

"There was more interest from abroad, but for me there was nothing of the calibre of Liverpool, a brilliant club with an enormous reputation."

Get Paid Kuyty lad!!

I'm not so sure about Kuyt, yes he scored a lot of goals in the Dutch league but he failed to impress in the World Cup. Plus he looks like Ray Parlour.

crap in the world cup i agree.

can we not swap him already for Klaas Van Huntelaar. Eire got savaged by him last night.

Nope.

Thing is about him is he doesn't really have alot of pace. However he works hard for the team so he's a Rafa type player

watched the first half an hour of the Holland game last night.

Kuyt was on the bench.

Van Der Vaart looked a class act in that time, getting loads of possession in the mid.

then England came on.

Seen a bit of him for Feyenord. He's like their Gerrard, does everything and plays everywhere and works his bollocks off. Watched one game were he scored two and they won despite being down to 10 men, he was everywhere breaking up attacks and sweeping up in defence. Reminds me a bit of a Dalglish/Beardsley type, despite his amazing goal ratio, he seems to drop off a lot and take it with his back to goal. Didn't think he was that slow either, not lightning but you could knock it infront of him and not slap your head, like you would if you realised you'd tried to play Crouch in.

Had one of Feyenoord's technical suits on Sky this morning saying that 'wherever he's played he's always exceeded expectation' i.e. he looks like a nonce on the field but...

71 goals in 101 games for Feyenoord :violent2: 51 in 161 for FC Bumfuck, Nowhere before that...

Better than Djib, two working legs too :smokin:

can't say he'll be the new Ian Rush or Robbie Fowler.

But if he scores goals like Davie Johnson used to do, that'll do me.

We need a strong fucker up front. a never say die man. a real workhorse.

errr...sorry Crouchy lad.

Touch of a similar style to Hargreaves. also born 1980. Strong team player. Good catch. 6 foot tall.

D. Kuyt started of playing with the Quick Boys. Signed with FC Utrecht at 18. Utrecht met Feyenoord in the 02 Dutch Cup where Kuyt was earned man-of-the match. The end of the seasone signed with Feyenoord. Good fun.

I'm very glad Dirk is welcome in your country, J.A.K. Don't have to see his ugly face on tv over here all the time. .

And as for his football-capacaties: Well, your country already took some of our best players -van Persie, van Nistelrooy, Robben and Bergkamp- from us: so I guess sending you players like Dirk Kuyt this time serves you right!!! :evil4:
