Salzburg are top of the Austrian Bundesliga at the moment and finished 2nd last year, so they're half-decent, but it ain't a bad draw... Don't really know what to make of our draw - bit difficult to know quite what to expect of Italian clubs, given all the shenanigans last season...

Its great to see Derry City in there (although they arent a 'British' Team - they're Irish) - they've done brilliantly to qualify & played some classy football along the way. Drogheda nearly made it too - in the end they were only beaten on penalties - there were 24 (!) penalties taken before Start (Of Norway) could beat them - 1:1 on agragate, 11:10 on penalties!!!!!
I got my money's worth at that match:D
Derry City are a british team they just play in the League of Ireland because they got booted out of the Irish League over 30 years ago after their fans set fire to the Ballymena Utd team bus after we beat them
I hope Derry can give PSG a good game, will make the IFA & clubs realise that summer and full time football is they only ways Irish League clubs can get decent results in Europe.

Would you like to 'discuss' this
(only messing, of course
) Anyway, as has often been discussed, Northern Irl is not part of Britain, its part of the UK ("the UK of GB & NI") - I didn't think you would fall for that one
BTW, how did Ballymena do this year (05/06)? I presume Dungannon Swifts came in 4th after the big 3? Any predictions for 06/07?

Exactly - the results here in the past 3 years have proved that already, but we're all fingers crossed that Derry can do well against PSG - obv no one EXPECTS them to beat the French, but they already beat Gotenborg home AND away; and they are playing the home leg in the Brandywell - which will be a real culture shock.

Yep Dungannon finished 4th. We finished 7th
We could have finished 4th but we fucked it up as usual. I'd say we'll finish in or around the position again, we haven't improved at all really. We played Man City last night in a friendly, our wee ground was packed out for the 1st time in years. We lost 3-1 but we did give them a decent game. Stuart Pearce played for most of the 2nd half, which was great to see.
Ballymena FC
nice little website that
Could do with details on the ground/directions though - thats normally what I'm looking for when I visit a team website (could be there - but I didn't see it - I like that kinda stuff to be REALLY OBVIOUS, because I'm lazy)
