he's been bollocks for some time now.
drop lampard. move gerrard inside with hargreaves. lennon on the right. ![]()
I would drop him for the next match. He's shown with Beckham that hes not afraid to drop big names, so do it again FFS ![]()

Barring a Adam Le Fondre esque run in side, Lampard wont get dropped. This is because he CAN score at international level. Quite frankly, Scholes should've been dropped well before he retired from internation football. Lampard could go 30 games without scoring, but Mclaren will never drop him.
Lennon is unproven away, and his final ball is pretty terrible.
Saying that, thank fuck Hargreaves is now automatic choice. ![]()
Lamps won't get the bullet. not yet. most people associate him with scoring, which he does well for Chelsea. when that drys up, people question his worth. I'm not a fan of fat frank. I just don't think he's been getting the ball enough in positions, where he should be making things happen for the front men. Gerrards much better at picking those passes. I can't wait to see a few more Chelsea games with Ballack next to him. to see how they are as a pair. and to see if Lampards goals dry up. in really big games, Lampard has gone missing.
but yeah, he should go. but it won't be for a while yet.
Fookin' MacClaren has already started defending him with stats, saying that Lamp Frankard has the highest number of passes completed every week, that his percentage ratios etc are world-class, and all this bollocks. He's already gone in my book, picking that tosser Phil Neville!
Lampard's a bit like Graeme Hick (ok, different sport but the analogy applies). Great at beating up bums, a heavy scorer against lesser opposition but not the real deal when it comes down to the top boys week in week out. Sure, he can do it, but for one reason or another doesn't consistently do it.
He wouldn't be in my first choice starting XI, I'd sooner see Carrick in there.
I was watching Fox Soccer on Saturday and they were talking about West Ham etc etc...
Then they started talking about major players to "get their start" in west ham...which is extremely patronizing way to put it..but in the US I don't think any other team counts besides united and chelsea...
Anyway, they show a picture of this man...
but they were referring to his son.
They fucking used a picture of the wrong fucking frank lampard. Useless assholes.
I lolled for a good minute at it tho.
