Woodgate, best central defender I've seen in a long time. Totally effortless. Amazing ability.

Proper backs-to-the-wall stuff for Boro though, Arsenal battered them from start to finish.

What a waste of money Gallas might prove though. He has to play through the middle. Fcuk knows why Chelski persisted with him at left-back too. He's the most one-footed player I've ever seen. Every time he had to drag it back onto his right foot again before he could move.

Woodgate is superb..He slipped through the net as a youngster,even though he was an outstanding player for Marton FC,traditionally thee breeding ground for Boro players of the future...If he stays fit and plays well its good for us,but he'll pop off back to R. Madrid by Christmas :shrug:
