Even worse, Brazil are number 1! Must be a pisstake. And the team that, you know, won the World Cup, are 5th.

i see your point but how do you explain that the U.S. was 5th in the word just before the world cup?

Because the North american or CONCAF or whatever the fuck its called is basically USA and Mexcio against a bunch of mickey mouse islands and canada. Any team with a half decent squad would walk that section undefeated ,thus gaining shitloads of points for the world rankings.
