i think thats what made him quit, he has a lot of supporters, but probably twice as many people can't stand his play in Argentina, many think he is too slow, the rest are river fans

good point. I'd never heard of Villareal until a few years ago. and he did fail at Barca before that i seem to remember.
But none of your midfield has ever matched the 86 team. There were high hopes for Veron in the Premiership, but he couldn't hack it. Most Argentinian players are better suited to the Italian League.
