David Dunn arrives home at his parent's house and announces he's getting married to Maud Arbukle, a buxom Blackburn lass.

"That's Grand!" says his dad, "maybe now your mother and sister will be able to get some rest."

"True dad, they will, but guess what?, Maud is a virgin."

"WELL THAT'S IT THEN!!!" screams Dunn's dad, "THE WEDDING IS OFF!!!, ANY GIRL WHO IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR HER OWN FAMILY IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR OURS!!!"

It might just be coincidence but every visit i have made to the breezeblock there is always a group of extremely long armed locals peering at us from the stand to our left. Like i say might be coincidence but i'll be taking some bandages for the poor bleeders when we visit notlob in a couple of weeks time.

You want to try the other side, where I sit. All the hooligans and not rights are in that corner. It makes for a very entertaining couple of hours if the football isn't exciting.

I was hoping we'd be playing you tomorrow. Never mind eh, see you on the 3rd.

(And get off our 'yer mums yer dad' song!)

Sure thing. And you're right. They are on our right. You might say that i 'm from a smaller gene pool than you and thats why i get me left n right mixed up but think of the poor sods from Bumley. Anyway we won't be bothering with yer mums yer dad, i prefer 'down on yer sister, yer going down on yer sister'. Just personal preference. Shame we won't be visiting you tomorrow.

always used to get a thick ear at bolton, right rough hole and they seem to hate us but we only think of burnley, anyway i should be an honoury wanderer actually -once got arrested when with bolton fans against bristol city in the full members cup at wembley,1986 i think

Too true . The walk from Burn Down Park to the bus station was always funny as, and always garaunteed to get the old ticker going. Just on todays performance, i thought Rovers went with a game plan after the last visit and were always comfortable. Dont get to that many matches these days (family, dissillusion with lack of atmosphere, not just at Ewood but most prem grounds, over paid / rated players, need i go on,) but i thought having that dingle dixon on BBC talking his usual ballax about rovers is typical of the BBC big club media bias. At least channel 5 have a half decent presenter / co presenter in murray / nevin.

Great to see dunny blowin again and once he gets through the first 6 games he and bentley will be sound, beware missy and your knucklescraping friends!!

Cant wait to get the arse and my arse back to Ewood and hopefully put em on it. I think hughsey will only have to put winger and febregas' whinging comments up on the door to get the boys rallied.

Up the fookin' rovers!!!!!!!

N by the way '87 full members cup was far better, but thats for another day.

Anyway, i'm off to sort the savage thread out.
