Rovers are on the verge of being bought out by a yank consortium apparently. I don't think it can be good for the club myself. I think its a very well run and stable club at the mo. But this buy out can only go one of two ways......Either challenging for the top four or spiraling downward into debt.
Thoughts anyone? Banshee?

Why the fuck is it a bum club? Any Blackburn fan will tell you we are not the biggest club in the world. Never have been ,n ever will be, nor would we wish to be. Look at the soul less figures who frequent Anfield, Old Trafford and more to the point Stamford Bridge. Blackburn have always had a hardcore 12 - 15k following. I seem to remember visiting Newcastle in the eighties and seeing 12000 on there.
I could go on but can't be arsed at the mo.
By the way. How many times LFC won the prem?

How can a Blackburn fan call other clubs soulless? Apart from a few tits with drums, you make fugg all noise. Most of yous get off about 15 minutes before the end as well. What's that all about? It's not lie you've got anywhere to go, a) there's nothing in Blackburn. b) presumably your support's local?

What i mean is I and another 12 to 15k have been regulars at ewood for 30 years, even in the old third division when everything was shit. Because it was the thing to do on a saturday, be with yer mates, a gang, go to the footie, travelling to fuckin halifax n bury takin 3000 away to these places.
Its probably the same when you lot come to ewood and take over the fernhurst, top day out with the boys, causing more bother than any other club in town,(Liverpool fans best in the land? well i beg to differ).

No, the only problem I've had in the Fernhurst is getting served in the shit-hole and then getting served by the inbred yokels in the ground. Perhaps if you dosey feckers could operate at normal pace instead on your back-ward inbred ways, there's be no problems, eh?
howdi folks. o.k. the fact is that blackburn dont get big crowds,although i reckon on an average of 23,000 next season which will beat about 4 other premier league clubs.we have a small population( 25% of which are asian and dont go to football ),yet we still are a feature in the premier league with a good footballing side.surely this is a testiment to how GOD DAMN good we are 
i think the crowds we get are very good considering the town only has a population of 110,000,we've never ever said that we're a big club have we? its good being a blackburn fan because people don't seem to like us do they,so we must be doing something right
the figure of 12-15000 hardcore for years is stretching it a bit though,i took my 6 year old brother to his first match in 90-91(i think!) and there was only just 6000 on,midweek league game against leicester,at least the scousers can say that they saw the premier league trophy(with blue and white ribbons) lifted at anfield before its knocked down though can't they....and they'll probably have a minutes silence for that every year when it happens

My source informs me that something will be announced hopefully within the next week.
The bloke is Dan Williams originally from Lancashire but now heading major US businesses, and he's fronting a consortium which includes other super rich folk.
It seems to be looking pretty good at the moment after my initial scepticism!
Oh and hes a life long Rovers fan. Not some dodgy russian or Thai.

if a club as been going nowhere for years the fans welcome a change.we have been having our best period for ages so i'd rather not have bothered really.the thing is though the walkers want to hand it over to someone so thats that and fair enough.hope it helps us keep hold of hughes.artical about the takeover in daily mirror today.
