Sweet FA Dave...

Anyway, I just hope no-one devotes too much time to wondering 'which from these teams will be in the World Cup in two years time'...

Ah, bless. That's all quite sweet.

Indeed it is,

My favourite bits are:

Wigan- "proven they are here to stay"- despite being everyones dead certs to get relegated this year

Spurs- "Barclays Premiership Success high on the agenda" so scraping a UEFA cup place is success these days then?

Newcastle "soaring"- in erm... 13th place.

Middlesborough- "illustrious multi nation cast"?!?!? Pogatetz and Huth? Boateng? Is Mendieta still there? and "passionate support" hardly any fucker goes!

Also,

"the team i'm supporting this year"

This year? Well, by that logic can I just state this year i'm going to be supporting Northampton Town.

I feel confident this year, especially after my "success" in supporting Leyton Orient last time around.

I would not mind following footy however I never wanted to root for the "Big 4" (Chelsea, Liverpool Man U and Arsenal) too easy!! I'd be seen as a poseur.

If I could find one of the other teams (maybe not Man City-too painful) I might be ok.

I don't always get it watching alone but with a bunch of fellow crazies, it would be fun.

Game to try the other Countries' Leagues. German, Dutch, Spanish each have their own Histories. There is also the South American field. As for watching them.. always can walk into the Italian Quarters. Cafés, Bars that sort.

erm...why do you have to follow a certain club???

I watch whatever the heck is on the telly...most interesting match I ever saw involved Portsmouth and Middlesbrough, and the frigging announcers were going NUTS...

besides...I can always support the clubs that are playing against ManU or Chelski...
