Upheld today. Seems the rest of the league agreed with it.

Are you kidding? They've signed about seven players this week! 
Last time we were in this division we would've been automatically promoted even with a fifteen point deduction.
So, this being Leeds, they should still romp the table. 
Surprised the fifteen points was upheld though. Really thought they'd get some sort of reduction.
Over 75% of League Chairmen voted in favour of the deduction.
The thing is, when will the players get paid? They havent been paid for two months, and what happens when they quite rightly refuse to play?
this is tough,even i think is harse on leeds now.i have heard leeds have to to win about 20 games just to stay up!!

my mate whos a leeds fan reckons wise has et them a target of 71 pts to stay up and 118 pts for promotion, a few seasons in league one abound then i think

Can they refuse? legally?
Of course they can. If they dont get paid then the club has broken the terms of the contract which makes it invalid.

It's never that cut and dry tho is it?
Anyway, the reason I asked is that I know certain professions have no strike clauses in contracts... I mean they tend to be emergency types not footballers but still I'd be interested in knowing if some odd clause like that exists.
When sporting teams go on strike here it's the whole damned league because of how the bargaining is done..
