Potential banana skin or should we be asking if the Anfield scoreboard can cope with double figures?

Why the fuck should we let a load of band-wagon jumpers into our ground taking our seats? Shouldn't have given the 6k they'll get. Our fans are far more entitled to be there.

Havant took about 460 to Swansea, cheeky twats.

Hank, you've got more class than that. Let them have their day. It's the biggest game in that club's history, and will be your smallest game all season - how many Liverpool fans genuinely give a shit about this one? It's a foregone conclusion.

Disagree. 600, That's all that were arsed about going to Swansea, suddenly it's multliplied 10-12 fold. They're clearly hangers on and band-wagon jumpers who obviously didn't even give a fuck about their town's magnificent achievement in getting to the 3rd round. They haven't got a leg to stand on. I can't speak for everyone else but I'm looking forward to it. Going with me nephew for his birthday.

600 was their allocation. More wanted to go but couldn't...

You're being very harsh. Let them have their moment and then go back to being an average Conference South team.

Save the plastic fan bile for someone who really deserves it, like Reading. When they were top of the Championship they couldn't even half fill their stadium and you got more atmosphere at the local morgue.

Just think of all those burglary opportunities on the south coast!

Tut tut. Typical 'big club' bollocks. "It's our ball and we're going to play with it."

We have to give a minimum % of our tickets for FA cup ties. Think it's 15%. How come Swansea only had to give 600?

for the battle of the high seas, pompey have given 3500 tickets to plymouth,, which is about 17.5% of avaliable tickets, all have been taken, when pool came down a couple of seasons ago the same curtesy was extended ..they have also reduced the prices for kids down to a fiver,,,,,,the romance of the cup,, alive and well in portsmouth,, twinned with havant.

Don't know - just remember hearing on the local news that 'all 600 tickets are now sold'.

Maybe it's all Swansea thought a 'pub team' (their words) would require.

Swansea's away end holds summat like 3-4000 too!

Did that game even sell out as a result?

According to the Swansea website the attendance was 8761!

Capacity is 22K.

It's all down to segregation, isn't it. I guess it just happens that the Pompy away end holds 17.5% rather than the standard cup allocation of 15%

I'm sure Swansea had hopes of top flight football when planning their new stadium so the away end must hold the league minimum 10% for grounds under 30000 and must have scope for segregation of at least 15%. The stadium is 20000+ so that's at least 3000 that Havant could have had.

The usual away end at Anfield is half the Lower Anfield Road end - 3000. For Cup games they give over the whole Lower Anfield Road - 6000. The only other segregation possible would be the whole of the Upper Anfield Road too (As Celtic got for a testimonial). That would be 9000. Probably more than watch Havant away all season!!

So does the scoreboard go past 10? It got to 10 a few years back I seem to remember!

Anyone remember the only non-league club ever to beat Liverpool in the FA Cup?

Worcester City!

I was going to put a tenner on H&W to win. At 100-1 it would have been well worth it.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a tenner
