So George Burley got it, and it looks like Terry Butcher will be his assistant. What do you think, good, bad, indifferent?
Hated Butcher when he played for/captained "The Auld Enemy", and even when he first joined the Gers (and helped kick start some brilliant signings like Brian Laudrup etc etc, as well as some pish like Paul "who ate awe the pies" Gascoigne!)
Anyway why is the ex-Gers man only the No2 this time? ![]()
To be truthful I'm actually more excited by the prospect of Butcher (and it's zilch to do way being a Bear) than Burley (despite the good work he done at Hearts, before the clowns in charge of the Jambo's sacked him.) Burley's been in England that long that Butcher probably knows the Scottish scene better, as he's only been in Oz for a wee while compared to GB's exile (and the last thing we need is any more Anglo-Scots duffers filling oot the team!) Christ, who'd have thunk it a GB and an ex-Engerlund captain in charge of Scotland's Rampant Lions!
Well wits the Hampden Roar, wit day you think?
