It's not about seeing him through rose tinted glasses, it's just not fair to judge him on this season. He didn't create the mess, he's just got the unenviable job of trying to put it right.

Of course it was fair Liam, they weren't losing in style under Allardyce. Keegan has changed things and given those fantastic fans exactly what they wanted - a team that might lose but at least they're doing it in style. They are being treated to goal fest after goal fest.

North East....Hotbed of Football... Newc V Boro...derby..40 miles away!says it all really.. going to watch newcastle v rovers on match of the day now. i like keegan by the way.he wears it on his sleeve.good for a laugh with some of his over the top quotes but he's alright chap really. only problem i have with newcastle is them plucking a few people off rovers.i.e.shearer,batty. and the fact that its the worst away end in the premier league.you can see the shoppers in the centre clearer than the players up in that away end.for 35 quid sod that
