You're not there yet.

Anyway, what the plan for next year? Try and stay up, or just not do a Derby, or do a Derby but not spend all the money?

No, not there yet but if we fuck this up we may as well pack up and knock this whole 'football club' lark on the head!

Rumours are that our very rich but hitherto extremely tight Chairman has realised that you can't take it with you when the Reaper comes and has a £30-£40 million burning sensation in his pocket. He wants his legacy to be re-establishing Stoke in the top flight. Save me all this "doing a Derby" cack. The red and white worm has finally turned.....

But will your chairman sack Tony Pulis after ten games when you're int he relegation zone?

And in all seriousness, regardless of money, who the fuck is going to want to play for Stoke City? Same problem Wigan have had.

I have to be honest, Liam - I'm finding it difficult to take a "know your place, Clayhead"-style dressing-down from a fucking Stockport County fan!!!

Avoiding the issue at hand!

I know our place, and thats historically been mid table in Division three, what is now League 1.

I really wouldnt blame Stoke for taking the £30 Million and running. And if Huil go up as well, you'll be spared the ignomy of finishing bottom.

We're not there yet but we just need one point. One measley point. That's all we need to take us back into the top flight. We were so close on Saturday but Ian Ashbee had other ideas.

I can't even think beyond the Leicester match never mind the Premiership!

Nervous about tomorrow then Chaps?

squeaky bum time indeed.

If you only need a point then I suggest you take it, mainly because there are a number of people on here, myself included, who think it would be hilarious for Southampton to get relegated.

Too bloody right dear boy.......I remember one particularly unfortunate encounter with them after a match at Ewood in the eighties.......a rather large member of our young contingent was stuck half-way through a fence when being pursured by Stokes rather excited and much older hoolies........surfice to say that when we managed to pull him through and make good our escape and then check his posterior the bruising was a delight to behold.......still laugh about it to this day...:eek3: :blackeye: :(

Actually, can Stoke score loads of goals. I've just remembered that the manager of Leicester is Ian Holloway, who i dislike almost as much as I dislike Neil Warnock.

Thanks Chrissy. Makes a change from the 'you'll do a Derby' congratulatory messages that I seem to be getting!

I dont think you'll do a Derby.

I think the team that wins the Play offs will do a Derby. I think you'll be relegated quite confortably though. Derby will probably be relegated next year as well, or at least be involved in the scrap.

Still, no harm in that. Take the money and run. I would.

You miserable old sod!!

I don't give two fucks that Alex can't go to Moscow, but I am looking forward to Stoke's "ugly", "physical" (read: WORKING CLASS) brand of football breaking many legs and finishing four places from bottom next season.

Fuck you all, you cunts: WE ARE STOKE!!!!!!!!!!!

Liked the quote from Carl Dickinson in the local rag today which sort of gives an insight into the way that Stoke defend.

'I'm looking forward to putting Ronaldo into Row Z'

He will

Richard Cresswell dedicated Stoke's promotion to Phil O'Donnell, his former colleague at Sheff Wednesday. Nice touch. :thumb:

I thought Port Vale were in League 1?

Shows how much I know.

Still Robbie Williams must be chuffed to bits.
