Aye i was getting sick of the Ronaldo arse licking too.And that penny for your thoughts bit, well yes it can be applied in some scenarios but it didn't really go anywhere in that instance.Where was he trying to go with it?
And that presenter in the studio whatever his name is with his cliched "did we mention Ronaldo?..."
I did a trial via the red button of watching without any commentary but just the crowd noise when England played Portugal in the 2006 World Cup.Very strange.
Can't do it with ITV but BBC red button is yer best bet- still watch the game but have the 5 Live commentary on in sync. The using the radio for the commentary but still having the tv pictures idea doesn't work because it's slightly out of sync.Red button then select 5 live is the best solution.
What really gets on me tits with commentators on tv is when they start talking about what they had for dinner etc while there is something really important happening.
Well, I'll be doing that tomorrow. For some reason, I didnt do it today. Motson wasnt as bad as he has been recently. But Mark Bright is just awful. Thank whatever Gods there are for the Holy trinity of Alan Green, Mike Ingham, and Graham Taylor!
Now saying that, tomorrow I'll put on the radio commentary, and it be fucking McClaren doing the analysis. And then i'm fucked may have to consider watching the games with no commentary, especailly if Jonathan Pearce is on.
