Nobby, you've got THREE basketball challenges from me today!

There's no one else there to play!

Er, how do you train these fellas? Where's the 'tackling' option?!

The Basketball application doesn't work for me. I can play. I don't get any money for a game. So I cannot train my players anymore. Do you have the same problem?

I do get money, but the stadium starts soooo small (1000 cap) that you barely get much money at all. I haven't spent a penny on players, just the stadium.

It's only going up by about 20 seats a day!!

And there's only you and Green to play there anyways!!!

Oh, and I've no idea what 'skills' you're supposed to be training the players in anyways - what do those positions even mean?

Its about 'as popular as a fart in a spacesuit' in Glasgow Nobby, though in saying that, West of Scotland Cricket Club is a 5 minute walk from me and their ground (The Oval)was the venue for the first ever Scotland v England footy match.

The clue is in the name.

You train 'bowlers' in the art of 'bowling'.

You train 'batsmen' in the art of 'batting'.

I hope this is of some help!

A certain someone we know has rejected every offer I've sent him to play me at cricket!!!

Despite the fact I'm in his team. :\ohwell:

He did stick 800k on me at 1/4 to beat Gazza though! I haven't looked into that - must start doing some betting meself (if I can find enough hours in the day!)

This is one of the problems with the game, unless you recruit lots of friends and batter them every game while they are starting, you have to rely on accepting challenges and challenging other teams. I got ahead by taking them up on their Corals offer, got 640 points for opening a Corals online account, and won the bet with my minimum £10 deposit. After some trial and error, it seems that you can lose most games and progress simply by playing lots of home games, when your money is sufficient to buy a stadium and training ground (even if it is an artists impression of Ibrox!!) plus rehab facility, then your players stay fitter and improve in quality every day, and you can use the training points to boost the ratings. No substitute for recruiting people though, thats the best way of getting points.

If anyone wants a challenge who is level 5 or below, I'll reverse the order and use my second string bowlers to make it a bit fairer, can't do fairer than that.

Didn't work, just reversed the order against Molly, and got my non-bowlers bowling, and skittled him for 29 and won it off 8 balls ;(

I suppose having a no.11 with 280 batting doesn't do a lot when I reverse the order!
