Gooners though. Already lost Flamini. Gilberto seems out of favour and is rumoured to be off anyways - you'd think they'd jump at the chance.

Just a shame he isn't French/African.

Reckon he'd be a good foil for Fabregas though.

There is no money at Arsenal - it's all tied up in the new stadium despite the talk of money being available. I've given up blaming Wenger now as he can only do what he can with money available from the board. It's a shame really. I bought 'Match' this morning, erm......for Joe obviously and it had a break down of each team's summer transfers In and Out - looks grim really considering we've not really replaced defending midfielders such as Gilberto and Flamini - and how much have Tottenham spent????? Well over 50 million! Another Chelsea in the making?

Either way, don't remember the footy season break ever dragging this long - welcome relief when it's all back to normal again!
