But...

Paul Dickov, Geovanni, Emile Mpenza and Jihai Sun are the senior players not to have been offered new contracts by the Club.

Juhai is off to the Blades (which is the campest nickname of any club - FACT) and Giovanni is going to 'Ull. Dicov will stay at Blackpool, where he's been on loan, and "striker Emile Mpenza has attracted interest from Premier League and Championship clubs."

Great news about Dunne. I'm sorry to see Jihai go, he's been a popular face for a while now and always put a shift in on them long afternoons when nobody else seemed bothered.

Interesting news from Eastlands. Everyone seems to have settled down with their new contracts, thanks to Mark Hughes I think. Michael Johnson was off, but he's staying now which is good. Hughes has also tagged a few academy players for 1st team appearances while the owner's team seem to be concentrating on getting the bigger names for the mega-money.

Interesting times. It will be interesting to see whether Hughes can make a team out of it all.

Its great news that Dunne is staying and we have finally got rid of Sun Jihai & samaras. Sun was the worst player to have worn the blue shirt for many, many years

I have to agree with that.

I can think of several worse.

I can think of even more than promised more than they delivered more than Sun.

At least he showed up and smiled a bit. That means a lot when the rest of the team are looking all grumpy as they bank £80k for less effort than I put into having a crap.
