and before ye think "oh here we go again",I aint ripping the piss,from what ive been reading on another forum (admittedly a Celtic one,but the folk posting on it seem to know what theyre on about) it looks pretty serious,this Link from the Herald has them being given 'ultimatims' from the bank,who are now 'running the club',im just wondering what our southern cousins make of it,is it mentioned in the press/media at all and of course Ger Boy,as a supporter of the club,whats your take on it?

As a Pompey supporter weve been doing the rollercoaster for years and our present state is due to a poxy series of takeovers,, yup some sympathy , but its the players with there inflated wages (135 k a week ,, getoff) who should beer the brunt of this oh and sky for charging us a fortune for matches to add to this inflation,,,, when you think about it,, what did the Romans do for us.

I have read a few reports and articles on the subject today. I'm still lost how they can be in such a mess ,and god knows what is happening.

Some thing that I have read - Rangers haven't been in the transfer market for 18 months.

Due to lack of players they are going to have to start fielding untried kids (Kris Boyd still probably won't get picked).

Walter Smiths & Ally McCoist contract are up in January and won't be renewed.

Possible automatic relegation & points deducted.

Banned from buying players in the next transfer window.

does that make them the richest club in the world as being owned by a bank outdoes oily arabs anyday lloyds made £1.9 billion last year, surely they could throw some up glasgow way.
