I agree totally with this man: 'I watched the final twice and I think there is some seriously brainwashed group think going on here. The Dutch DID NOT engage in thuggery. There was one crazy tackle, by De Jong, which deserved a Red Card and that's it. Everything else was just normal fouls.
Anyone who suggests that Van Bommel deserved to be sent off but Iniesta didn't is just bias. The fact is both of them engaged in cynical cheating throughout the game. Van Bommel with niggly fouls and provocation. Iniesta with persistent diving, injury-feigning and imaginary card waiving coupled with a blatent act of retaliation against Van Bommel which should have been a Red Card. If Van Bommel commited a blatent dive to get a Spaniard sent off in the way that Iniesta got Heitinga sent off, you would all be calling him "scum." It's unbelievably ridiculous to suggest that Holland cheated more than Spain. Spain engaged in the single greatest exhibition of diving, feigning injury and yellow/red card begging I have ever seen. They were DISGRACEFUL.
Holland played the same style that Inter played against Barca in the CL semi-final except that Inter were more cynical and violent against Barca than Holland were against Spain. Everyone who praised Inter and Mourinho is now condemning Holland and Van Marwijk. Hypocrites, the lot of you. The average match involving bottom half premier league teams is ten times more violent that the Dutch were against Spain. Hypocrites, the lot of you.
Holland created the better goal scoring opportunities. The Dutch should have had one red card - De Jong. The Spanish should have had two - Pujol and Iniesta. The ref was firmly in the pocket of the Spanish team. The only decision Webb made in favour of Holland was not sending off De Jong. Every other marginal decision and plenty of clear cut decisions went in favour of Spain. Webb dropped the ball as expected. What a joke! Too many games during this World Cup were spoilt by red-cards and I’m glad he resisted.

Hang on a sec! I've pasted from a link that you pasted to support your point of view and I agreed with every bit of it.
Oh and I'm not the England manager so can't do anything about it but I think the England performance throughout the tournament was shameful. I also think the performance of the Dutch players and their supporters in the final was not only shameful, it was disgraceful (that applies to van Bommel throughout)
