watching the match, heard them mention this -

is this why the forums are slow, everyone sober or at the stadium today?

it's a ban on carrying open drinks cans or bottles between the city centre and the stadium. strangely, the two bars next to the shop were also closed and you need to show your card/ticket to get served in there.
