There doesn't seem to be much hype around the England team this time around maybe with the Olympics happening etc. I reckon the less media "hype" the more chance they will actually achieve something.

From what i can work out if England make it out of the group they'll most likely have Italy or Spain in the quarter final and if they get past that probably Germany or Holland in the semi final.

Holland are off to a shakey start, Russia got off to a flyer last night but are reckoned to be vulnerable at the back, Ireland tomorrow and England the following night,am beginning to feel the excitement now finally. I even see that Subbuteo is making a comeback, teams and sets for sale in the Cork branch of Waterstones... The original Tango ball seems to have been brought back for the finals....😎

Warming slightly to ITV having their studio and pundits out there in Warsaw city centre. Brings things to life a bit and by god you need that with ITV and the likes of Adrian Childs. Not quite sure why the Beeb's Lineker and friends stayed at home in Salford, BBC trying to save the pennies i suppose? ITV, as ever, lets itself down though with the endless ad breaks.

Im sure Brazil, Argentina, Urugary, Germany, Portugal, Italy and Scotland will be gunning for the world cup in 2014. But it will take some to beat Spain.
And all the players children running around on the pitch. I got visions of 20 years time, there be the ones lifting the trophies.
Oh well England have finally got into the Twenty First Century and opened a football academy. The truth is we havent had a creative midfielder since Gazza. Sure, Beckham, Gerrard and Lampard have all played their part, but they dont unlock defences like Gazza, Iniesta, Pirlo, Figo, Ronaldo, Zidane, etc.
