yes. and I _like_ the cure.

frankly there's a bit too much new order stuff as well, but at least they created a special forum to confine it to.

I'm tired of all the "Smokey and the Bandit" threads myself. On and on with the "CB handles you'd use" and "Did this contribute to Jackie Gleason's death?" and what not :D

Yes.

But then you and me and New Order fans, Mike, and we know what's what.

I hope your shorts are clean.

Gallup (in the background, of course). That video was shot in 1986, I believe, when the single was re-released following the band's first substantial pop success with 1985's Head on the Door. If you notice, the vocals are a different mix from the original single version; I'm not sure if they re-recorded the whole song or just the vocals.

Vocals re-recorded for the release. Dempsey invited back for the video.

Hilarious version of Gary Glitter's "Do You Wanna Touch?" on the 1985 Paris show.

Yeah, sorry about that conflicting info. I just assumed that it was Gallup on bass. I haven't watched the video for quite some time, so I can't remember it too well, but I seem to recall a lot of puffy hair in the background and assumed it was Gallup, as his hair rivaled Robert's at that time. Did they drag Lol's coked-up ass onto drums for the video, too? I suppose if I watched it I could tell immediately...either fat drunk Lol or skinny Boris.

And as for too many Cure threads, I say fuck the lot of you. If I wanted to read hundreds of threads about football--which is a MUCH more common topic than The Cure--I'd post on a football forum, but I don't complain about it nearly as much as you all do about The Cure. So shove your double standard up yer collective asses.

Merry Fucking Easter!!!!

Speaking of the Cure, I have not listened to them since I DL that gig. Kinda like REM, I DL all the gigs I can get but never listen to them.
