And £12m a year is about £10m a year more than Alan Curbishley's had to spend yet you're below Charlton at the moment. All I'm basing my opinion on is what Houllier's achieved at his club compared with the money he's spent...and he's spent a hell of a lot in comparison with the 'lesser' Premiership clubs.
Come on Hank, you have to admit it. Houllier has failed time and again. The only two trophies that have ever mattered on Anfield are the League title and the European Cup. Doesn't it piss you off just a tad to see them going elsewhere every year ? He's bought/played some shockers (not as bad as Pooness, true), but there's no way more than two of this current side would ever have got in the squad of the real good Liverpool sides.

Picked up the Football Factory on DVD from ebay today. Quality film. Good music, lots of charlie and the occasional fisty-cuffs. Very watchable. The language though, oof. Won't be watching that one with mother.
